Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.15 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 124-127. AVGVSTVS HADRIANVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Minerva standing front, head to left, holding thunderbolt in her right hand and spear in her left; behind her, shield set on the ground. BMC -. RIC pl. 50, 3003 (this coin). Strack 18. Very rare. Nicely toned. A few scrapes and scratches, otherwise, fine.
